What are three essential qualities for a good design?

What still excites and makes me happy, even after years of experience, is the process of thinking up and sketching a new project.
For a design to be considered successful, it must be innovative, recognisable and meet the needs of its users

The dining table is the ultimate symbol of togetherness. What shape, in your opinion, best suits this piece of furniture?

The table should create harmony and be functional. Personally, I think round and oval shapes lend the table a greater sense of conviviality

The Totò table was designed with a contemporary style in mind, clean and bold lines, and rich in detail

Are there materials you consider ideal for constructing the Totò table?

The Totò table was designed with a substantial base in metal, a material that enhances its form and presence. The marble top gives the table the right dramatic effect

Any advice for those searching for the perfect dining table?   

There are many types of tables to suit different needs. My advice is to first assess your own requirements, then focus on a design and piece and finishes that combine style and functionality
